What is a QR Code?
A QR or Quick Response code is a sophisticated barcode that can be used in conjunction with scanners such as those found on Android and iPhones to deliver information about the underlying product or service to the user. A typical use would be to trigger the loading of a web page on a smart phone as follows:
- Scan QR Code
- Browser opens automatically
- URL decrypted from QR Code and entered automatically into browser.
- Web page opens
